Kris Tomasson is Senior Vice President of Design for both the NIO and firefly brands, where he has led the vehicle design and creative brand strategy for the last 10 years. Known for his ability to tap into his diverse design experiences, Kris has a strong background in automotive, product, and brand design. Before joining NIO, he held senior design positions at many notable companies including BMW, Design Director for Gulfstream Aerospace, Global Design Director at the Coca Cola Company, and Chief Designer at Ford Motor Company’s Advanced Strategic Design Studio. His leadership style drives innovation and holistic brand experiences.
