Seungmo Lim, Head of Kia Design China, leads creative direction and product design for Kia’s vehicles tailored for China. A visionary trained at Pforzheim University in Germany, Lim started his career at BMW, shaping cutting-edge designs for both concept and production vehicles. He then worked at Didi, leading exterior design, before briefly joining Geely to deepen his understanding of China’s automotive landscape. Now at Kia, Lim oversees a nationwide team from Shanghai to Yantai, driving bold, sustainable designs that merge futuristic aesthetics with practical innovation to meet the evolving needs of Chinese consumers.
